ABOUT HANNAH

Hannah Johnson Cathey is a speaker, writer, and recent law school graduate who is passionate about truth, faith, and principled leadership in law and public life.

A native of Louisiana, Hannah earned her Juris Doctorate from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2025, where she served as President of the Christian Legal Society, was named a finalist in the prestigious Flory Trial Moot Court Competition, and received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for her work. Her legal training reflects both academic rigor and a deep personal commitment to the rule of law rooted in biblical values.

Hannah most recently served as a law clerk to Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill, where she supported the state's top legal office in advancing justice and defending constitutional principles. She is currently preparing for the bar exam and remains engaged in issues at the intersection of law, policy, and culture.

Raised in a family devoted to public service and Christian discipleship, Hannah is the daughter of U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson and biblical counselor Kelly Johnson. Her upbringing has given her a front-row seat to the importance of moral courage, humility in leadership, and the vital role of women in shaping strong families and communities.

As a speaker, Hannah encourages audiences—especially young women and professionals—to live with conviction, pursue truth with clarity, and remain steadfast in faith no matter the cultural climate. She has addressed church groups, women’s leadership organizations, political gatherings, and student audiences across Louisiana and beyond.

Hannah currently resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with her husband and remains devoted to serving where faith and public service meet. Whether speaking about law, leadership, or biblical womanhood, Hannah brings a grounded, hope-filled perspective to the challenges of today.
